Title: -none- Characters: Pansy Parkinson Pairings: none Rating: G
Entry for a Hogsmeade Contest at hogwarts_elite. The prompt was to write a story about the day a character got their Hogwarts acceptance letter. I randomly thought to write about Pansy with the idea that she was almost a Squib. I've never written anything with her in it, and I'm not particularly interested in her character, but the concept just hit me. Not extremely fond of this one.

Title: The Prospect of Summer Characters: Harry, Ginny Pairings: Harry/Ginny Rating: G
More hogwarts_elite drabble fun! The theme for this was "Spring," with the grammar restrictions of 1) no more than three adjectives (not counting participles and articles), and 2) no adverbs ending in -ly.

Title: If I Could Do This Day Over, I Probably Wouldn't Characters: Draco, "Mystery Girl" Pairings: Draco/"Mystery Girl" Rating: PG
Yet again, a piece for a hogwarts_elite contest! I have to say, HE is my main inspiration.
The prompt for this one was to write a fic with two characters from the same house and include the following things: a drink, a wig, the Giant Squid, Peeves, and a painting of a fictional character. (I think that's what they were - the contest was a long time ago and I threw away the paper on which I printed out the prompt. I like to print out prompts) I rather misinterpreted the "portrait of a fictional character" thing, but oh well. I still enjoyed writing this! I had a lot of fun using silly language, which I have come to realize is probably the main way I attempt to make things funny. xD

Title: Cause and Effect Characters: Ginny Pairings: Harry/Ginny Rating: G
Again, this is a 100-word drabble written for a contest at hogwarts_elite. Sadly, I spaced out on the deadline and submitted it too late, so it never got entered. I really like the concept of this one, but the last sentence in the first paragraph is worded really awkwardly and it bugs the hell out of me. I know what I was trying to say, but getting it out was really hard. I'm still not satisfied with it.

Title: Before the Tomb Characters: Ginny, Lupin Pairings: Harry/Ginny, Remus/Tonks Rating: G
This was another fic written for a contest at hogwarts_elite. This time, the theme was "Resentment," and one had to focus around at least two of the following characters: Lupin, Ginny, Hermione, or Blaise. I chose Ginny and Lupin. Again, this is not one of my favorite works (I said in Correspondence that I would again write about a particular point of Harry and Ginny's breakup and again not articulate it the way I want to; this is the piece), but I think it's alright.

Title: Correspondence Characters: Ginny Weasley Pairings: Harry/Ginny Rating: G
This is not one of my better pieces. I wrote it because there were still areas of Harry and Ginny's breakup that I wanted to explore; I have come to realize that it is the single moment in the Harry Potter series that fascinates me the most. I will always want to go back to it and write about it in some way, and I think I will always find something new in it.
With that said, I wrote this to stress a particular issue with Harry's decision to let Ginny go, and I think it was done rather clumsily(I wrote another story after this one that focuses around the same point, and I'm not sure that I expressed it any better there. I doubt I'll ever say it in a way that I feel comfortable with). The rest of the letter is rather superficial, which is probably why I don't like it that much. It doesn't really do what I wanted it to.

Title: Coming to Terms Characters: Remus Lupin, Tonks Pairings: Remus/Tonks, Remus/Siris (if you choose to interpret it that way) Rating: G
This was written as a suggestion from mookiemoooo @ fanfiction.net. She sent me a few ideas for drabbles that I could write, and this one interested me, so I wrote it! 100-word drabble.

Title: Dear Ginevra Weasley Characters: Harry Potter, Ginny Weasley Pairings: Harry/Ginny Rating: G
This is a series of three 100-word drabbles, the first having been written directly after The Love is GOOD. I'd never written a drabble before, but the idea came just came to me and I have loved writing drabbles ever since. I find them to be a very effective artform, forcing you to put as much meaning into 100 words as you can. Enjoy!

Title: The Love is GOOD! Characters: Luna, Harry, and some various others. Pairings: Luna/Everybody! None. Rating: PG
This fic was written in late July 2005 for a Hogsmeade contest at hogwarts_elite. The prompt was to "sue-ify" a canon character, giving a physical description, mention of powers, pets, or special family members, an explanation of how they can to be this way, and interaction with at least three canon characters. The story did not place, but I consider it to be the first real bit of fanfic I wrote and am VERY proud of it. I hope you enjoy!
WARNING: CRACKFIC AHEAD
